about 11th hour recordings

11th Hour Recordings is a new high quality electronics label based in London, UK and Vancouver, Canada. We specialise in Techno and Electro that is funky, futuristic, deep, sexy and innovative; with a unique fusion of Detroit and European influences. Over the coming months we will be releasing regular EPs from a wide variety of artists, both residents and guests, as well as annual artist albums, compilations and live presentations.

It is a imprint born out of our long running 11th Hour Technology project, and has always been the logical next step in our mission to put back into the electronic music scene some of the energy and enthusiasm that we have always enjoyed from it.

It has brought together talented artists from all over the world, and will provide them with a solid base to present their unique take on electronic music to listeners across the globe. It is our intention to release music by an equal blend of new and established artists, at all time focusing on quality and originality.

We are particularly enthusiastic about releasing music which the artists themselves love, music they feel to be close to their hearts. It is our firm belief that music it as its best – its most dynamic and soulful – when the artist is given free reign to channel their emotions to the fullest extent. This philosophy is central to 11th Hour, and extends to all aspects of our projects, be they recordings, live performances, artwork or journalism.

Above all, 11th Hour is a label that will encompass and pay tribute to all that we love about electronic music, in particular Techno and Electro – rich, futuristic textures; powerful and plaintive emotions and soul - and raw, driving funk.
